A place where I can share the inspirations found around me with people who are also searching for some... (do I sound like Zoolander? Awesome.)

Miniatures
There's something endearing about small scale things, don't you think? Little shoes, little creatures, little clay pots, little flowers and especially little books.... that makes us go, "Aww..." with a goofy smile on our faces. (Okay, the goofy smile is on MY FACE, so sue me.)
I have always thought that dollhouses were the neatest thing when I was a little girl. I had extreme dollhouse envy of my cousin Karen's troll dollhouse. Her brother, my cousin, Erik, had made her the coolest dollhouse for her trolls. Like me, she wasn't into real dolls, preferring trolls and animals to dollies. Her troll house had little rooms with little tables, little plates, little jars with little spaghetti in them... I don't remember if it had little books, but if she still has it now, I'm sure that it does! I wanted to make things for her little house, but my little hands didn't have the experience yet. The funny thing is that I never wanted to play pretend with the house... I never really wanted to play with it at all. I just wanted to MAKE things to go IN IT. That was far more interesting to me....
So here are a few of my miniature books... do they make you go, "Awww...."? He he.
I was last seen in the construction industry, wearing a hard hat and yelling at guys. Just kidding! I never yelled! My guys liked working with me, actually. But I was losing my creative self, which is very important to me. So... I left. I am also most happy when I'm helping to inspire people, either with my crafting posts, showing something amazing about nature, or sharing my latest favorite bookmaking project... I love working with my hands...oh to feel things! I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge about nature, life, people, my art.... that's what this life is for, I believe.
