30 Day Photography Challenge: Day 23

The challenge for today is "Sun flare," but as per usual, on a day when I need sun (or clouds or sunset) it's not showing it's face. So I was prepared! Because a few days ago, when it was sunny, I took these photos... (KNOWING that I'd need them today. That's called Foresight. I'm good, right?)

Today is all cloud-covered, gray, extremely humid, and will probably rain. It drizzled earlier, but that didn't cool things off at all. It's laundry day, too. Need to get some things cleaned before the trip! I'm bringing a couple of cameras, my sketchbooks, my journaling stuff, and I will come back with all kinds of goodies to share with you! My best friend should be in Barbados right now... can you imagine how awesome that is? My godson is probably in the water, having a blast.... I can imagine it completely. :-) We want to do a group trip next year to Belize, but it depends on if we can coordinate my time share trade with whatever her schedule is... it's always trickier for me to arrange, unfortunately.

I hope you're staying cool, maybe sipping a cold drink with some lime ice cubes, and kicking back in a shady spot with a good book... sounds like a good thing to me.

Beautiful photos! I always love that perspective of looking up through the trees. I think we're having the same weather here, cloudy, sort of rain, sort of not. Kind of a blah weather week, so I hope our nice weekend forecast stays true. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Great photos I need to try this! I know there is a way to add them in the photos after...cheating I know but I don't know how to do that either.

Oh, thank you! Yes, adding them after is easy if you use PhotoShop. It's called "lens flare" and you can add them to your pictures. These are actually occurring when I took the photos, so it was even easier! :-)
