Blooms In My Garden

I wanted to share what's currently blooming around my apartment. If you enjoy gardening blogs, like I do, check out May Dreams Garden! I'm linking to her Garden Blogger's Bloom Day post.

Some of these are in pots, and others are planted in the backyard. Although I'm looking forward to fall, I'll be sad to lose these blooms. Good thing the mums are getting ready for fall! My garden won't be completely barren looking...
Brown-eye Susans on the front porch.

Don't know what these purple flowers are...

Butterfly bush I propagated from a wild-growing bush.

Next to bloom... Mums!

It is nice to have the mums to look forward to as most of the other blooms fade. I really like your brown-eyed susans. happy GBBD!

Lovely flowers in bloom! It's fun to take pictures of what's blooming in your garden and share here, isn't it? I love to share what's going on in our gardens too.

Thank you, everyone!
@Scott... yes, I love the anticipation of the blooming of the mums... they stay little buds for so long!

@Christine: thanks for the info! They're new to me :-)

@Sage Butterfly: yes, so glad there are mums in the fall, and thank you. I love Brown-eyed Susans, too.

@Terri: I always enjoy seeing your flowers, as well!

@Sonja: ha ha! Well... I grew into my green thumb. But my mom's always had one, so maybe I just learned from her... my cat drawings are somewhere in the posts from this week, if you want to see them!

@Rebecaa: thanks so much!
