30 Day Drawing Challenge Day 7

Day 7: Your favorite word. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to draw a rendition of what my favorite word would be, or just draw the lettering. I drew the lettering, because I really couldn't figure out a way to characterize this word. Here you go...

This word was first used in a letter in 1754 by Horace Walpole, according to Wiki. He pulled the word from a Persian story about The Three Princes of Serendip. They were "always going about making discoveries, by accident or sagacity..."

The online dictionary's first definition is: 1. The faculty of making fortunate discoveries by accident.

This is something that I find happens quite often in my art play. I love when it happens, too, because quite often, it teaches me something that I wouldn't have learned on my own. Accidents can quite often lead to happy things!
