Here I am, friends! We landed in San Jose on Saturday night and have been spending time with my mom & stepdad, and Jo Jo, their dog. It's beautiful here, as you all suspected!
My stepdad has made many more improvements on their house and my mom has added many plants to their garden... It's lush and magical...
She served us her homemade tea made from fresh bamboo. It was tasty! We also did a lot of walking to nearby parks. These are places I grew up playing in, so it was really fun reliving some memories while sharing them with K.
Above he is climbing a large bonsai tree, with Jo Jo watching!
In the afternoon I took K to meet my best friend for the first time. It was lovely seeing her beautiful face again & catching up! I've missed her so much!
My mom also made us a yummy dinner. I stuffed myself! K was suitably impressed! We are now planning on going to my favorite beach today... I hope you all are having a wonderful and inspired day!!

I am so glad that you and K are safely there and enjoying yourselves. Your photos are great! Looking forward to more. I can relate to your missing the ocean. I also am from an area where the beach was within a short drive and miss it also. Have a great trip!
