Seeing with your artist's eye

Have you ever watched the quintessential film maker looking at a scene through the rectangle of his fingers? He's framing out a view, seeing it on an imaginary screen. I invite you to do the same, but not just when you want to take a photo... also do it during the day when you're waiting for the bus, or at the coffee shop waiting in line. Try it when you're at your desk at work. Use your artist's eye to see the everyday things around you.
