Secession Obsession!

Guess what, Everyone? My sister has some of her shirts produced and just finished her first official photo shoot of her new T-Shirt line that I told you about here. She got a location at a cool bar called Harvard & Stone, and two professional models to model the clothing: Brook Power and Frank Brown.

I got an advance viewing of the photos she took, and they are wonderful! She is editing them now, and as soon as she is ready to post them onto Secession Obsession, I'll let you know! The shirts look amazing!! 


Side note, because I find this kind of thing very interesting... Frank's story in a nutshell: he was working in the art department of a photography shoot one day, when the photographer asked him to stand in. He said yes. That photographer was Steven Meisel! After the shoot, he was propelled into the world of male modeling, even doing a shoot for Italian Vogue! He has done a lot of modeling, both runway and print, traveled all over for it too. He does a lot of other interesting and artistic things, as well. You can see that on his blog. As he's a friend of my sister's, he generously participated in her photo shoot when she asked. Wait until you see the photos! Both models look amazing, and my sister did a beautiful job of photographing them!

Secession - New Clothing Line Coming Out Soon!

Everyone, I have news that is very exciting to me! I hope that it will excite you, also!

My sister, Sharlene Durfey, is working with her partner, Carlos Martinez-Cervantes, to launch a brand new line of luxury t-shirts! Her background is in graphic design and fashion, as you'll know if you read my artist's blog from a few weeks ago.

 She's going to be running around a lot this year, promoting her line in Los Angeles, New York and London. Remember how I mentioned that my mom said that she wasn't creative or artistic? Obviously it didn't affect my sister at all! Yay, sis! She also got a website up specifically for her new line: Secession Obsession. Check it out!
